District Deputy Report – March 2015
Brothers, yes another Busy month of March has been upon us. A very busy month in our Council and district together. First thing is I would like to
“Thank You” to our 1st Degree Team. You brothers are awesome. A Special Thanks to PGK Tony Nelson who has step up and took the role of DGK. A big part of this degree. Also to our own FS Scott who recently took the role of FS doing no wrong in both positions in the council and the degree team player. “Thanks Scott”. We had a membership drive last weekend 14/15th. Thanks for all who helped out. On Wednesday evening we had an open house have 2 form 100 signed and we await these new Strangers who will join the ranks of the order, on Wednesday 3-25-15 evening. See you all there to support all the new brothers in our District.
Saturday 14th, was the only day I was able to be an Irishman and thanks to PGK Tim Beaulieu who nicknamed me “O’Leary” for the evening we could do nothing better than put on a Sellout crowd. The dinner was superb as the cooks out did themselves again. “Thanks to the “COOKS”.
You know who they were. The music again with our PGK Pat Leyden was nothing but again top notch. The decorations were the best we ever had. Thanks brother Kim and your crew. Great job. Thank you to Brother Mark Stead and his wife, who put countless hours in making it special.
I can go on and on with. “Thank you’s”, as we all stepped up this year and made it a special evening. We all know now much it’s important for all of us to continue with asking strangers if they too would like to become one of the greatest Catholic Men’s Fraternity in the world.
As I ending my writing this message I received a phone call, telling me we lost a very special Brother -SK Of our St Joseph Assembly 3453 Chaplin –
Fr Joe Scerbo from St Paschal Baylon in Thousand Oaks parish. R.I.P. Fr Joe.
